We have.....
...... recycled, freecycled, ebayed, charity shopped, given to friends, found new uses for and tipped almost all the contents of the 'attic'. The few boxes to keep have been sorted and repacked. We now have space for phase 1 of the bathroom, shower room and bedroom project to begin.
The first step is to board and insulate the floor and roof under the eves so the boxes we have kept can be stored.
The garage will then need to be sorted so all the building materials can be housed. This involves moving the furniture that was temporarily placed there when sorting out MILs house. As we would like the furniture in our bedroom we need first to sort out the furniture that we no longer require in that room and so it goes on !

Must feel great to have a big clear out in readiness for your building project. Quite an undertaking to get rid of all the 'stuff' we accumulate isn't it!
It is - made even harder when each member of the family has different memories and attachments to different items. I just hope we haven't been to rash; all baby and childhood treasures have been kept : )
it always works out like that - one job leading to another.. until you end up full circle with the first job..
So frustrating isn't it? That is why so many jobs here get left so long. It is having the time to do everything.
