The smell of Autumn

My kitchen smells of Autumn, a pleasing mixture of autumnal flowers and apples. A pleasant change from spice and vinegar, which has filled the house over the past few weeks, from making chutney and the sweetness of the sugar and fruit from jam making.



The garden has also taken on a very autumnal feel and look.The muted colour of the autumn flowers replacing the brightness of summer.
